Hi, Welcome to PLOVEA

My name is Allisa Krones, and this is my little corner of the world where I write, reflect, and share pieces of life that are meaningful to me.

The name PLOVEA represents my little family—my greatest source of love, joy, inspiration, and, quite often, the stories that find their way onto these pages. ❤️

The journey of this blog actually began way back in 2009, under the name When Samosir Meets Krones. Back then, I wrote mostly about my family, our everyday life, and the little moments of love and togetherness that I wanted to remember and share.

As life changed, the blog changed with it. For personal reasons, in May 2022, I decided to move When Samosir Meets Krones into a private space. Yet, somehow, I never completely lost the joy of writing and sharing my thoughts and experiences with others.

And so, Small Talks About Love and Life With PLOVEA was born.

This blog is now a place where I can continue to write about the things that matter to me—love, family, life, faith, beautiful little moments, lessons learned, and perhaps anything else that I feel is worth putting into words.

I have arranged several different topics in the menus above, and I hope you will find something here that speaks to you, helps you in some little way, makes you smile, or perhaps simply gives you a pleasant moment to pause and read.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about something I’ve written, please feel free to leave a comment on the related post. I may not always have all the answers, but I will certainly try my best to help whenever I can.
