First of all, I want to say thank you to the youngest member of The Mahmud, Mumut, for giving me this award. This is the second Liebster Award I received, and just like the first one, it was given by The Mahmud’s member. I guess it shows how close we are. Thank you ya buibuuu… it’s so wonderful to know you all 🙂
So, by receiving this award, there are 8 things that I have to do in this post (you can read those 8 items here).
Item 1, 2, and 3 are checked.
Item 6, 7, and 8…..ummmm, can I just nominate anyone who read this post and are willing to accept this award, please? It’s ok ya Mut? *nanya sambil pelototin Mumut* Ok, I think it’s ok. 😛
So, put aside those 5 items, I only have to do item 4 and 5. And here you go 🙂
Item 4: Answer the 11 questions put to you by the person who nominated you.
1. How has being a blogger changed your worldview?
When I read this question for the first time, one thing that came across my mind was not the answer but actually another question. Am I a blogger? I ask this to myself, because I never consider me as a blogger. I have a blog. I write on a blog. But a blogger? I don’t think so.
Anyway, even though I still doubt myself as a blogger (I guess I will just keep that question only for me), but I will still answer the question, not as a blogger but as someone who has blog and read quite a lot of blogs (I’m now following exactly 100 blogs, I think that’s quite a lot of number).
The answer is, a lot!
You know, one thing that I really like about this blogging activities is that I can see things from many different point of view. It’s because by reading blogs, I read people’s stories from their own point of view and somehow I can feel how it feels like to be in their situation. Reading blogs helps me to understand people in a better way.
2. What does blogging mean to you?
Again, the answer is a lot! I really…really love freezing memories in this blog, sharing through this blog, reading people’s blog, and making friendship through this blogging world 🙂
3. Your favorite past-time
4. The 3 wishes you’d make if you get Aladdin’s Lamp.
I don’t have 3 wishes. I only have 1: I wish the fairytale about Aladdin’s Lamp be vanished forever, so people (especially the children) will stop thinking that there’s such a thing like Aladdin’s Lamp. You know, until now I never let my children read those kind of fairy tales; I just think it’s not good for children. If you want to get something, you have to pray to God and fight for it, never ever think to do a stupid act like finding lamp with a demon in it! *serius amat bu? 😛 *.
5. One place where you’d like to travel to.
Manado. I miss my hometown so much right now 😦
6. A thing that has happened in your life which was like a dream come true for you
To have him as my husband.
Once in my life, I thought that I would never find someone like him. Very kind, good looking, gentle, smart, not a playboy, having the integrity, always be a hero for me, and….adore me. But there he is now and he’s my husband. God is so good to me! 🙂
7. What sort of person is the most boring or irritating to you?
Person like I write in here, I guess.
8. One weird thing you believed in as a child.
That rainbow has an end point.
9. If there was a zombie apocalypse and you had to choose between staying in your home with ample food, but little protection (meaning you don’t have the supplies to board yourself in completely) or hitting the road with a full tank of gas, but very limited supplies, what would your coarse of action be.
I have children, you know, so I would consider their situation first before taking some kind of actions. But, based on the situation above, I would prefer to stay at home first, build the protection for my family (come on, this is my own house, I should know how to build the protection using anything available in the house) while waiting for the best chance to runaway or maybe for the help to come.
10. A sentence or two describing a happy memory from your childhood.
11. Gold or silver?
Item 5. List 11 random facts about yourself
I already did the same kind of list in here. Not just 11. But 30 😀
But if I have to do it again (it’s only 11, it’s easy 😛 ), then it will be like this.
First, I really am into Hallmark Christmas movies. Some of you will laugh, I know. But I really love Christmas movies and Hallmark has loootttss of it! I watch the movies on YouTube when it’s not even Christmas season 😀
Second, I don’t like being in a large group of people, whether it is online or offline. This is the reason why I don’t like being in online forum. I tried being a member of mailing list and I didn’t enjoy it. Too many people, too many thoughts, and too many different kinds of people which some of them are rude to the other members (in a large group of people, of course you can’t expect that all of them are nice, right?). It’s too noisy. I don’t like it. I don’t feel comfortable with it, so I better stay away from it.
Third, it’s very easy for my husband to make me full of joy. Just by saying I look beautiful and he loves me so much are enough to make my day.
Fourth, I love Wikipedia so much! Sometimes when I have nothing to do, I will just read about something (people or things) on Wikipedia to add new knowledge to my brain. I think Wikipedia is super awesome!
Fifth, sometimes (or many times, I guess) it’s hard for me to remember people’s name. I can easily remember people’s face, but very easily to forget people’s name 😦
Once I met a friend in our head office. She’s in finance department and that time, I met her when I was dealing with my business trip to Singapore. As I met her, I knew that I know her, but I just couldn’t remember her name. But since she looked so familiar and very friendly to me, I didn’t feel hesitate to chat with her. So we talked, we laughed, while I kept trying to remember her name, until one moment she finally asked me, “By the way Allisa, we have talked a lot today, but….do you remember my name?”
And that’s it. I could only smile…an awkward smile while I replied, “Actually no….i tried to remember your name. But I couldn’t. I don’t have idea what your name is……sorry……..”
Issshh…….That was so embarrassing and made me feel so bad 😦
Sixth, my all time favorite authors are: Agatha Christie, Danielle Steel, Barbara Cartland, J.R.R Tolkien, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Mira W, and Kyoko Mizuki.
Seventh, I was very good at swimming and ballet.
Eighth, I appeared on TV for the first time when I was 8, on a TV drama where I played a role named Yayuk 😀
Ninth, I ever been robbed at knifepoint. Scary! Horror!
Tenth, I love high heels! (I think this is a fact that most of you already knew 😀 )
Eleventh, my all time favorite love song is Paintings In My Mind 🙂
Done! Finally….. 😀
Thank you Mumut for the award and happy Monday to all of us! God bless us 🙂
